Welcome to Windsor Locks

     Windsor Locks is located in Hartford County and is the home of Bradley International Airport and the New England Air Museum.  It is approximately 11 miles north of Hartford in a suburban setting and is bordered by Suffield, East Windsor, Windsor, and East Granby.

The town of Windsor Locks covers approximately 9.2 sq. miles with an estimated population of  12,256. Formerly known as the Pine Meadows section of Windsor, Connecticut, in 1854 Windsor Locks was incorporated and named after a set of canal locks situated on the Connecticut River.  Its principal industries are, food service and distribution, and the manufacturing of aerospace products, paper goods, electronics and machinery. 

Windsor Locks is the hub for both business and leisure travel for residents of Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. In addition, its close proximity to exciting cities such as Boston and New York, as well as picturesque New England towns, makes Windsor Locks a great place to live!
